Arizona Riparian Council
Fall Meeting at
Horseshoe Ranch
October 27 & 28, 2007 – Saturday & Sunday

Please join us at the Arizona Riparian Council’s Fall meeting. At this year’s meeting we will camp at Horseshoe Ranch, which is located in the Agua Fria National Monument and along the Agua Fria River. On Saturday afternoon, we will learn about the Rapid Stream-Riparian Assessment (RSRA) protocol that we will be using to assess riparian areas on the Monument. Come and hear from our trainers about the protocol and meet our partners in the effort: Audubon Arizona, the Friends of the Agua Fria National Monument and the Master Watershed Stewards.

After the speakers we will have some free time to explore. The Council will provide dinner which will be a cookout of hamburgers or veggie burgers and fixin's. Please provide your own lunches (Sat/Sun) and breakfast Sunday morning. On Sunday we will put into practice what we learned on Saturday and actually assess one of the stream reaches.

Please indicate on the registration form if you want a veggie burger. A $15/adult and $10/child fee (children under 10 are free) should be mailed to Cindy Zisner for you and your family – kids are definitely invited, however, there is a NO PETS policy so you will have to leave your four-footed kids at home.

Please make your check payable to the Arizona Riparian Council. You may pay online through Paypal, but there is an additional $0.75 charge. Please indicate on the registration form if you have paid through Paypal. If you are using the PayPal option please still submit the registration form electronically. For those using a check please submit electronically and by mail with your check.

Time to Meet

What to Bring
